Montreal, QC, Canada
Multidisciplinary artist, Jessica VALOISE has been practicing photography since 2010 and is becoming professional quickly. Exploring different styles, she specializes in 2016 in photography of concerts and artists. Convinced that Art harmonises bodies, immortalizing artists who are creating represents for her what is most authentic and true. Her unobtrusive nature and her enlightened eye capture as accurately representations as backstage of artistic creation.
In addition to this unique look, Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology (2009), practiced music theory and piano for five years, and dance for fifteen years. This triple expertise allows her to anticipate the action of the protagonists, to develop an analysis and a reasoning in the triggering of her photographs.

Eddy de Pretto at Francofolies de Montreal
Jessica VALOISE
When Tyler The Creator meets Stromae, himself meets Jacques Brel and electro, it gives us Eddy de Pretto. Accompanied only by his drummer Johny, the scenography is as minimalist as his instrumentals that he launches from his phone. This young prodigy occupies the space perfectly as only dancers can do so well. His training as an actor and his years on stage are necessarily as much to do with his presence and charisma, which seem so easy and natural.
Through his articulated texts, Eddy wants us to understand what he has to say. He tells himself, and tells us. Much more than a musical performance, Eddy communicates his standardized singularity. Much more than a rap concert mixed with French songs, Eddy's lighting, scenography, clothing and movements give us the impression of attending a sung play - and where we can dance. It's poetic. It's aesthetic. We are conquered.
