Jimena Peck is an Argentinian Documentary and Editorial photographer currently based out of Denver, Colorado, United States.
Her Documentary work explores the lives of indigenous and rural communities in Latin America. Her editorial subjects are diverse - from portraiture, food, land and agriculture to travel and documentary assignments.
With a B.A in Journalism and Visual Communications and tons of workshops and courses in all possible photography fields, she is now working as a full time freelance Editorial and Documentary photographer.
She is currently researching and working on a long term project about Yerba Mate’s history, cultural significance, and modern cultivation in her home country, Argentina.
Her curiosity always makes her want to know more, to dig deeper and find the unexpected stories behind the story being told. Her objective is to bring awareness and document the strength among people whose lives depend on vulnerable situations, but reveals an optimistic and colorful view of the world.
Jimena is currently based in Colorado but has lived, worked, and studied in Mexico, Spain, The Netherlands, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, China, Argentina and the United Stated and speaks English and Spanish fluently.
