Jonah M. Kessel is a cinematographer, filmmaker and staff video journalist with The New York Times.
He has contributed to a Pulitzer Prize winning series, been awarded the Robert F. Kennedy Award for Justice and Human Rights reporting, The Edwin Hood Diplomatic Award for Broadcast Journalism and was named 2nd place in 2015's Pictures of the Year International as Multimedia Journalist of the Year.
He covers Asia for the video desk of the New York Times and wishes that curiosity was an ice cream flavor.
