I am an alum of the Eddie Adams Workshop and a member of Women Photograph. My client work is heavily influenced by my personal work which utilizes large format camera systems to craft quiet narratives through intimate and creative portraiture. As a photographer, it is my priority to make meaningful connections and honor the people at the center of their stories.

Joanna Kulesza
Creek is a portrait project set within the Austin, Texas Greenbelt. This patchwork of swimming holes and waterfalls serves as the city’s luscious green curtain from blooming high-rises and elusive culture. I considered the importance of a place such as the Greenbelt and was particularly drawn to the ways in which people gather there. I scavenged the electric waters for bathers in the secluded green places that intertwine throughout the concrete structure of the city, creating my own oasis filled with quiet moments of human connection.
