It wasn't until after I finished teaching my first two years in Hawaii that I realized I wanted to become a full-time photographer. I was told RIT was the best school for learning about photography so I packed up and moved to Rochester, NY. After learning from and receiving mentorship from some of the most proficient photographers in our profession I accepted a position at California State University of Long Beach where I work in the Marketing and Communications department, producing magazines and telling stories for the University.
