Jordi Carot
Barcelona, Barcelona, Espanya
Jordi Carot is a traveler and photographer, graphic designer and audiovisual, adventurer and warrior manager.
Although claims to have done almost-everything in the graphic field, you still have horizons where to take your imagination. Enthusiast Asia, its culture and history and travel, has led him to perform different photographic and audiovisual projects as well as exhibitions and lectures related to photography or Tibet.
He is co-director of the documentary film Earth Sutra (Antropodocs 2016), which has led him to meet the most colorful characters of the Tibetan exile in India and Nepal: musicians, poets, activists, prisoners ... and be around great masters such as SS the Dalai Lama Tulku Rimpoche or Rinku. An eight-year project that gave birth in the Cineteca of Madrid with the presence of Thubten Wangchen sponsorship (Chairman of the Tibet House Foundation) and US actor Richard Gere.
Currently he interacts between his role as a father and shaping projects like Pandora (a trilogy of short films about the concept of beauty), Idoll or continuation of Earth Sutra, perhaps the most ambitious project to date. He is also co-creator (with Manu Aunon) travel blog viajarporlibre.net, where he writes articles and manages online marketing.
