Jordis Antonia Schloesser

Jordis (born 1967, Göttingen) got her diploma in photography 1996 in Dortmund from Prof. Arno Fischer. Member of OSTKREUZ since 1997, she worked in almost every part of the world for prestigious magazines like Geo, Stern, National Geographic and Spiegel. 1998 admission to the World Press Joop Swart Masterclass, received among others the ’International Yann Geoffroy Competition’ and a ’World Press Photo Award’.
Recently she photographed for instance the jet set in Berlins ’New West’ or chinese immigrants producing in Tuscan sweatshops fashion labeled ’made in Italy’.
After long years in Havanna und in Paris, Jordis lives and works since 2008 in Berlin.
