Humanistic reportage is where I come from. I feel empathy for my subjects and use aesthetics, compositions and colors to emphasize the meaning and content of my pictures.
Sipa Press published my work on the latest breaking news from 1995 to 1999. In 2001, following the publication of « Vies en Urgence » (Lives in emergency), I joined the Editing agency. I have been collaborating with Signatures since its creation.
I am sensitive to struggles and the way they affect people and offer a better present and future. I am especially interested in new ways of life and organization such as the ZAD (zone to be defended), squats, food autonomy and also in the current and future realities of West Africa.
Comfortable with corporate photography, live portraits or news, I also undertake long-term projects that are based on two main lines: the human being struggling and more intimist and dreamlike subjects here and there.
Since 2010, I have started video recording, using fixed shots or over-the-shoulder cameras and paying great attention to the meaning of the picture through the composition .
