Barricade on Istiklal cadessi, Istanbul. In June 2013, many Turkish people took to the streets to protest the rule of their Primer Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The protests were initiated by a contested project that was initially planning to destroy an emblematic public park in Taksim district.
