I am a multimedia journalist from Bogota, Colombia. I spent much of the last year reporting from across Mexico, including traveling to the state of Guerrero and reporting on the case of 43 missing students and more recently the escape of the famous drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman.
I have written and shot for publications like Telemundo News, NBC News, The New York Times, TIME, People en Español, Columbia Visuals, CJR, Next City, Seventeen Magazine and BizBash Media. My work has taken me to Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Guatemala and Venezuela.
I received a master's degree in Digital Media from Columbia Journalism School in 2013.
