I worked as a daily newspaper photographer in Indiana, Louisiana and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for a combined 7 years before becoming a freelancer. I freelanced from Richmond, Virginia for six years. Currently, I am an assistant professor of photojournalism at Southern Illinois University and am available for assignment from Carbondale, Illinois. Carbondale is located within striking distance of much of "flyover country" from Memphis to St. Louis to Nashville to Indianapolis and the Ozarks.
