I became a freelance multi-media reporter in 2008 after a career as a fine artist/craftsman. I bring to my work a strong visual style- placing value on the look as well as the content. I branched into video and writing in 2010 as a frequent contributor to the Atlantic. Currently I'm a freelance contributor to DeSmog Blog, where I create in-depth environmental reports. Other recent clients include the Weather Channel, Al Jazeera, Ocean 8 media and the Guardian. I have a knack for getting in to places that are hard to get access to. I'm quick on my feet in disasters zones. I am available to travel worldwide and if not booked, I'm ready to hit the road quickly. I shoot with canon 5d mark3s with multiple fixed lens. Can shoot studio set ups as well as out in the field. Major stories I have covered include the BP oil spill, Earthquake in Haiti and Cholera epidemic, Occupy Wall Street Movement and Sandy. Since 2013 my work has focused on the fracking industry and pipelines.
