Julie Hascöet (born 1989, France) studied Visual Arts at the University and graduated from l’Ecole Nationale Superieure de la Photographie (Arles) in 2012. She considers photography as a raw material, composing polyptychs, installations and working with printed matter. Her works questions the notions of entropy, ephemerality and resistance – she mostly focuses on ruins, remains, still life. Besides her artistic research she is also co-founder of ZINES OF THE ZONE, a traveling collection of self-published zines & books photo-related.
