Julien Daniel is born in Paris on february 25, 1970.
He sarts as a photographe rat the age of 27 in 1997. This same year he became a member of the Œil Public french agency. During his career, Julien won several prizes : 2 world Press Photo awards (2000-2001), The Kodak Photographic Prize (2005), The FNAC « Attention Talent’ Award (2002). His photography is poetic and melancholic, with landscapes and faces.
After 10 years with his first agency, Julien join another group : MYOP. He is member of this young group of photographers since 2008.
In 2009 Julien won the professionnal grant of the Vannes Festival for a project in Japan : « Okinawa ! ». This story has been exhibited during the festival and published (This year in Russia in the magazine Afisha Mir).
Since 2012, Julien is also working as a director and writer for TV documentary projects.
His first film, a road movie along the language border in Belgium was diffused on tv in France and in Belgium last spring (Une Histoire Belge).
