Watsamon Tri-yasakda, also known as “June” is a photographer and visual storyteller from Bangkok, Thailand. She's recently moved to London to pursue MA Gender, Media and Culture at Goldsmiths fully funded by Chevening Scholarship. She is actively documenting issues of human rights for LGBTQ community in Thailand and Southeast Asia for over 6 years. She is a member of Women Photograph and The Journal collective. Her works have been published and featured in local and international publications such as Financial Times, DER SPIEGEL, and Global Citizen. Her photo works on the LGBTQ community have been exhibited in over 15 cities around the world. In 2019, she was listed in Time Out Bangkok’s “Bangkok-based LGBTQ figures you should know right now“.
