Karah Shaffer is Co-Founder and Project Co-Director of Facing Change: Documenting DETROIT, a fellowship program and public arts initiative for early career and emerging photographers from the Detroit area. Shaffer’s work has been featured in The New York Times, NPR, KCRW, and more. She was Associate Producer on the recently premiered documentary 'Land Grab', addressing the issues of land use on Detroit's east side. Shaffer has coordinated projects for the Bronx Documentary Center, notably the 2013 Portfolio Review.
