Toronto, ON, Canada
A graduate of International Relations and Development Studies, Katherine is passionate about protecting our planet and the people living on it. Having witnessed both the incredible devastation and resilience of humanity throughout her travels to over 30 countries, she is driven to share the stories of our world and hopes to bring a critical lens rooted in post-colonial theory and sustainable development towards ethical visual storytelling.
As the Photography Project Manager for Climate Tracker, she has had the fortunate opportunity to hire local photographers from around the world to document environmental projects that are taking place in their country, on behalf of the Global Climate Change Alliance Plus (GCCA+) - an initiative funded by the European Union (EU). Most recently, her work has appeared in the Guardian, BBC (Gahuza), Forbes, and Vox.
