I am a multimedia journalist and artist living in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. I shoot and edit photography and video, and collaborate with writers and artists on a wide range of productions. Two projects I’ve worked on have been nominated for Webbys, and my work has also been honored with awards from POYi, FotoWeek DC, PIEA, and more.
In my senior year of college, I was hired as a multimedia producer at The New Yorker, where I created hundreds of videos and audio slideshows from start to finish. I was honored and humbled by the range of opportunities that was afforded to me in this role at one of the best magazines in the country. I worked on videos featuring luminaries such as Woody Allen, Joyce Carol Oates, Ai Wei Wei, and Daphne Guinness, and on projects spanning in topic matter from human rights in Burma to KPOP.
I am currently a master’s candidate at ITP, an interdisciplinary arts and technology program within NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts that’s sometimes called “a center for the recently possible.” I also do a variety of freelance work: recently, I’ve directed and edited a book trailer for Gary Shteyngart starring James Franco, Rashida Jones, and Jonathan Franzen, taken album photos for two budding musicians, and covered events for a BAM and Change for Kids, to list just a few inspiring projects. Please contact me if you are interested in collaborating!
