Nairobi, Kenya
I am Kelvin Juma, 27, a photographer/videographer (living) based in Nairobi, Kenya.
Had an joint photo exhibition and publication in London as a contributing photographer in The Guardian's " Living In The Slum" in 2019. My work revolves around the daily life, challenges, culture and identity in the contemporary world.
Graduated with Advanced Diploma in Multimedia Production at Edullink International College-Nairobi.
Founded a long term ongoing Photo project (on Instagram) "Dailylife Kibera" which attempts to cover the dynamic livelihood of the people inside the largest urban slum in Africa with an insider's view. Doing this with unbiased lens, trying to undermine the stereotypes as perceived by the general media.
Kelvin is available for assignments/Commissions.
