Born in 1970, France Keyser first starts photography by taking pictures of the jazz scene for almost five years.
From 2002, she made several reports in Iran, lrak, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Turkey, Israel and Palestine. These travels in war countries, allow her to share the life of persons confronted with extreme situations.
Since a few years, France settled down in Marseille, city cosmopolitan and opened on Méditerrannée. In 2010, after 4 years of investigation, she dedicates a book to the Muslims of France, " We are French and Muslims ", with Vincent Geisser, researcher to the CNRS(National center for scientific research). " By going to meet these French people and by giving a face to the silent majority, I hope to have made an educational work which will allow to take the heat out of the debate and to raise the misunderstandings ", she explains.
To go farther, she began, in December, 2010, a dive at the activists of the National Front, the french far right party, very implanted in the South. " FN’s supporters are still united around the same basic themes: preference for French citizens, defence of Christian values, national identity, denouncing immigrants, and islamophobia. . "she says.
She also works for the French daily and weekly press, on news headlines.
