Lachlan Gardiner

achlan Gardiner is an Australian Photojournalist, Social Documentary, Adventure and Portrait photographer who has worked on stories both locally and abroad. Lachlan’s work focuses primarily on documenting the human condition, both the highs and lows of our existence.
Some projects Lachlan has worked on include: Homelessness, Australian Indigenous rights and community, water safety and the impact of war in Cambodia, horse racing culture in Brisbane, QLD Emergency Services, QLD’s storm and flood season, and documenting the lives Australian front-line conflict Veterans.
In 2012 Lachlan graduated from Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art with a Bachelor of Photography (Photojournalism & Documentary Practice) with First Class Honours.
Lachlan is a member of the Editorial Board of The Australian Photojournalist and among his work has been published by; The Weekend Australian Magazine, The Courier Mail, Photo Review Australia, Australian Geographic, WILD Magazine and Capture Magazine.
