Laerke (b. 1984) is a freelance photographer based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Laerke’s awards include a first prize in World Press Photo, a first prize in Pictures of the Year international and awards in PDN Photo Annual, the Danish Pictures of the Year as well as in UNICEF Photo of the Year. In 2013 Posselt was nominated for the Joop Swart Masterclass and participated in the Eddie Adams Workshop.
Laerke has studied Art and Documentary Photography at Fatamorgana and has a BA in Photojournalism from The Danish School of Media and Journalism. As part of her education, she underwent an 18-month internship as a photographer at the Danish daily, Politiken.
Clients include Amnesty, Politiken, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Sunday Times Magazine, Le Monde, Libération, Russian Reporter and Newsweek Japan.
Between 2012 and 2014 Laerke was a member of the Scandinavian photo agency Moment, until she joined Agence Vu' in April 2014.
