Lauren Santucci is a documentary photographer and filmmaker in Detroit, Michigan. She is interested in forced migration and refugee issues, with the goal of humanizing these global issues through personal stories. She has an M.A. International Relations and Art History from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Santucci was a 2018 Facing Change: Documenting Detroit Fellow and is now part of the 2019 New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Mentorship Program. Her clients include NPR, OkayAfrica, Twin Magazine, and more. Her work has exhibited at the Detroit Institute of Arts (2018), Redeye Photography Network (Manchester, 2018), and the London Photography Diary (London, 2016).
Santucci is available for freelance photography and video assignments in Detroit and beyond.
