Lea Mandana is a French/Persian documentary photographer represented by Hans Lucas and a member of Frontline Freelance Register. Interested in the stories of women in violence and war, she is currently in Iraq, around Mossoul.
She graduated in architecture in Paris. During her studies, she focused her research on ruins of war in the Middle East. She has worked as a camera assistant, has produced film photography for magazines, and has made her first documentary in Serbia's Roma community. After having worked for the NGO "Reporters Without Borders", she went to Eastern Europe on the road of refugees.
