Jim Casper is editor-in-chief and publisher of LensCulture, one of the leading online destinations to discover contemporary photography from around the world. As an active member in the global contemporary photography community, Casper organizes international photography events, travels extensively to meet with photographers and review their portfolios, curates art exhibitions, writes about photography and culture, lectures, conducts workshops, serves as an international juror and nominator for key awards, and is an advisor to arts and education organizations. He serves on the board of directors at SPE, the Society for Photographic Education, the world’s largest association of photography educators.
LensCulture reaches a monthly audience of over 1.5 million people on five continents. LensCulture is dedicated to discovering and helping talented photographers gain exposure and recognition, and move forward in their careers. In 2015 LensCulture launched a new innovative interactive online educational platform connecting photographers in realtime with each other and editors, publishers, curators, gallerists, festival directors and educators — no matter where they are in the world. This exciting new platform is called LensCulture Sessions.
