Born in Gdynia, Poland. Studied photography at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at the Technological Institute in Athens.
In 1996 became responsible photographer of the Athens bureau of the international European Pressphoto Agency (EPA) , where covered some of the main political, social and sport events in Greece and abroad. From 1997 to 2000 covered the crisis in Balkans and the war in Kosovo . Since 2005 works with the international Agence France Presse (AFP) based in Athens, covering news in Greece and abroad , while working as well on some personal projects. Her work was awarded and presented at exhibitions and festivals in Greece and abroad, incuding POYi, CHIPP, Days Japan , PIX3, Visa pour L' image, Athens Photo Festival, Humanity Photo Awards, Tashkentale , Lithuanian Photo Circle, UNHCR, galleries in Greece, Paris, Cardiff and other . Member of the Foreign Press Association of Greece.

BLACE, MACEDONIA : A Macedonian policeman stands guard at the border village of Blace, some 25 km north of Skopje, as he guards thousands of Albanian refugees from Kosovo's capital Pristina, Saturday 03 April 1999. The Macedonian government decided Saturday to turn away 50,000 Kosovars after concluding that a new influx of refugees could trigger economic chaos and political unrest in the small Balkan state.
