Born in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, Lina is a fully bilingual photographer in Spanish and English, with conversant skills in Italian. Lina’s work mainly focuses in photojournalism, but she has experience in commercial photography, food and travel photography. Visit her contact page for portrait/wedding commissions.
She completed her BFA with a degree in Visual Communications & Graphic Design and a master’s degree in Film with a concentration in Production and Screenwriting at Columbia University School of Arts, in New York, NY. As a lover of film from a very young age, Lina has worked within many different roles throughout her film career. As a Producer, Line Producer, Assistant Production Coordinator, and Assistant Director.
She currently lives in between Jackson, Wyoming and San Juan, Puerto Rico, actively and independently teaching photography, and available for assignments worldwide.
Today, Lina is focusing on a long-term documentary photo project bringing light to the surviving stories from her fellow Puerto Ricans who recently “migrated” to one of the least populated US states, Wyoming.
