Born in Vicenza, Italy, in 1981, I have lived and worked between Italy and the UK since 2007.
I started with film photography at 13, developing my own photos in the dark room. I did a first photography
course at 15 then carried on working as portrait and wedding photographer since then.
I studied Art and Humanities and was always fascinated by people and telling stories.
My first projects in my early 20s, were related to conceptual
photography - Woman the relationship with nature and society.
In 2007 I moved to the UK and worked as fashion photographer for magazine and catalogues,
in Italy I carried on working on local stories of craftsman and artisans in Venice for a local magazine.
In 2015 I started working in collaboration with NGO Women for Freedom, which focuses on empowering
women and supporting children to get to school through fundraising; I documented the earthquake
in Amatrice, Italy, followed by two trips in Nepal and India to document the lives of women and children.
In 2016 I did an internship with Magnum Photos in London which was extremely open minding and helped
me understand which way my photography was developing.
My current personal work focuses on migrant refugees in Italy, raising awareness towards empowering
women in less developed countries and current social issues in Italy and UK.
I also cover offer digital storytelling, corporate and events.
