Lorena Pierres Castro
Málaga, Spain
Everything started when I was 16. I managed to get a scholarship to study part of my secondary school in Israel. That's the event that changed my life forever.
After I came back to my home in Buenos Aires, I was certain I wanted to live in many different countries in order to understand different cultures from their own point of view and not mine. At the time I thought a career in tourism was the answer, so I enrolled in University and soon got myself an internship in the United States. Working in a multicultural team allowed me to then move to the United Kingdom, where I lived for 8 years and gained most of my professional experience.
But life was going to change once again and in 2008 I moved to southern Spain, where I realized that hospitality and tourism wasn't enough for me and so I went back to uni. I've just finished my degree in journalism, which I absolutely love and I'm currently looking for my next challenge. Yes, you guessed it, out of Spain!
