Colombian documentary photographer. Her work is characterized by being introspective, based on the abstraction of cultural and family themes. In her work, photography is presented from different reflections: on territory, identity and memory, from the affective and the symbolic she usually uses the photographic archive, objects, emotions and the body to work on her critical perception of the environment. Her photographic series and author projects are the mediating of the imaginary and the visual experience of his portraits.
2019 Winner of Photos of the Year (POY) Latam 2019, 2nd place in the individual portrait category, Quito, Ecuador.
She has exhibited her works in Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay and Switzerland.
Co-founder of Latin American Photographers (Fotgrafas Latam) a foundation dedicated to the visibility, training and promotion of emerging Latin American photographers. Director and teacher of the Popayán University Photoclub at the Universidad del Cauca-Colombia, an institution with more than 50 years of experience in photographic training.
