Sao Paulo - São Paulo, Brazil
I was born in London, raised between São Paulo and New York, and lived in Barcelona for 13 years. I started studying acting and singing (NY), then went to college for advertising, while at a musical theater company (SP). Thereafter, I studied cinema direction (BCN), and also completed a course in cinematography in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba.
As soon as I arrived in Barcelona I started working with distribution, as well as production and direction assistant. After 3 years in that capacity, I started to freelance on several job opportunities as a 1st AD, production manager, director in addition to cinema festivals and audiovisual events.
Due to my multitask profile, I have worked with advertising, festivals, documentaries, short films, feature films, television programs, you name it.
In 2005 I created my own traveling audiovisual exhibit called “cortocircuito” and in 2008 it became a biannual festival for advertisers to dare and direct their own short films, called “cortocircuito create”, which ended with me coming back to Brazil.
As a director, I have works of video art, video installation, video creation, short films, documentaries, interviews and corporate videos in my portfolio. I also teach an express course on “How to do your own documentary in a week” and another one of “Applied Creativity”. My work has been exhibited in festivals and galleries throughout Spain, Brazil and Ireland.
As a producer, I have works of advertising, documentaries, tv, cinema and Festivals, including biggest video art festival in Europe, Loop - Barcelona, and biggest Independent Cinema Festibal in Spain, L’alternativa.
As a 1st ad I’ve worked mainly in advertising, some documentaries and feature films.
My current position is as a freelance content director and eventually as an producer or AD in advertising or other audiovisual projects.
I also carry on some personal projects such my band, called The Suite.
