Lorraine Turci graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Nantes and obtained a Master's degree from the University Paris 8. She has been working independently since 2019. She regularly collaborates with the press (Le Figaro Magazine, Géo, La Croix Hebdo), NGOs (Greenpeace, Amnesty International), and institutions (Department of Morbihan, Ministry of Culture). Her work was notably exhibited at the BnF (French National Library) in 2024 as part of the exhibition of the laureates of the Ministry of Culture's "Radioscopie de la France" commission, at the Fisheye Gallery as part of the IWPA award (2024), as well as in numerous festivals such as Les Femmes s'exposent (2024), the La Gacilly Photo Festival (2023), the Belfast Photo Festival (2023), and Visa pour l'image (2019). Lorraine has received the Brouillon d'un rêve grant from Scam, the Fluxus Art Projects grant from the Institut Français, and the support of the Franco-Japanese Sasakawa Foundation. She has participated in artist residencies in Japan, at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles, and in 2024, in Gambia at the invitation of the Alliance Française of Banjul.
