Louise Far is a photographer and cultural worker who finds happiness in documenting life events. Passionate about indigenous culture, holistic education and conscious arts, she has been managing programs, facilitating creative workshops for the young ones and photographing events in education, culture and the arts. She has also been involved in the cultural initiatives of the Movement of Imaginals for Sustainable Societies through Initiatives, Organizing and Networking (MISSION). In 2010, she joined the Masterclass in Documentary Photography of Alex Baluyut as its first Butch Baluyut scholar. In the same year, she was one of the young Asian photographers chosen to be part of the Angkor Photography Workshop in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Since then, she has been participating in group exhibitions and slideshows in Asia and Europe. Two years after, Louise co-founded Image:Praxis, a creative research project on mapping and documenting sustainable initiatives through photo stories. At present, she continues to work on a photography project about holistic education and is exploring contemplative photography.
