Louise Canguilhem
Born in Céret in 1992 in the Pyrénées-Orientales, she began studies in Cinema and Photography in various locations in France and abroad. She then worked for about ten years in the film industry in Paris, while continuing her photographic practice, both analog and digital. Very interested in documentary in all its forms, and passionate about still images for years, she gradually turned towards photojournalism. Her relationship with images is nourished by many different influences, including reading, the press, films, documentaries, photography, photography festivals, exhibitions, and numerous travels. She allows herself to shoot anywhere, on different subjects, even though she is naturally interested in societal and environmental issues, particularly rural life, minorities, ecology, and precariousness. She currently lives between Paris and Céret, in the Pyrénées-Orientales.
