Maciek Jaźwiecki is documentary photographer and photojournalist based in Warsaw (Poland).
Previously, he worked as a photo editor at "Gazeta Wyborcza" newspaper and "Duzy Format" Magazine. As a reviewer, he participated in portfolio reviews at European photo festivals: Visa pour l’image in Perpignan, Les Rencontres d’Arles, Fotofestiwal in Łódź, Photomonth in Kraków.
He took part in the Hack the Photo workshop, organized in 2016 by the International Center of Photography in New York. Year later, he received grant of the Artistic scholarship from the Capital City of Warsaw. He is an enthusiast of using new tools to create innovative visual storytelling.
Graduate of Sociology – Applied Social Sciences at The University of Warsaw, where he also studied Press Photography. He runs a Press & Editorial Photography course at SWPS University in Warsaw.
