London, United Kingdom
Magnus was born in Norway and grew up in Iceland. He has always been fascinated by photography and got his first digital camera at age 16. After participating and winning several photography contests, he was sure it would be his future. He moved to Denmark to study and assisted several photographers, both in Denmark and in Iceland, while he built his own portfolio focusing on portraits of artist and musicians.
Now Magnus lives in London and works mostly in portraiture, for creative and commercial clients. Numerous shoots with critically acclaimed Icelandic musicians such as Retro Stefson, Agent Fresco and Soley as well as Bjork's record label One Little Indian have gained him a name in the local music scene. He also works to the highest commercial levels with clients such as Visa, Handpoint and 365 media. His work for Reykjavik Grapevine Magazine includes covershoots and editorials, and has shot for international publications like The Hollywood Reporter, Gaffa and Max Magazine.
