Argentine photographer Magalí Druscovich (24) was born in 1992 in Buenos Aires, where she is based. She graduated from ARGRA with a major in Journalism and Documentary Photography. Studied Social Communication Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).
Attended Leo Liberman, Julio Menajovsky and Eduardo Carrera Photojournalism workshop and works as a freelance photographer. Last year, she served as a photographer in the Middle East for the Jerusalem Post and currently works at UNICEF ARGENTINA.
Among her works are: Child Labor in Misiones-Argentina, an essay on Holocaust Jewish Survivors’ Portraits and a photography project about “Child Labor in Misiones” sponsored by the renowned photographer JR to be displayed in the streets of Buenos Aires by 2016.
"I understand documentary photography as a tool where I can bridge means to ahed lighton what is not seen and what people should see. My projects focus on social issues, that promoten changes in society. I believe in the positive power of pictures and telling stories is my challenge to raise awearnes, build responsabiliy and keep records to make is wonder if white is white and black y black”
