A senior at UCLA, Maia Ferdman is a weekly columnist for the Daily Bruin and is a peer learning facilitator for student athletes. She is also a part of the Olive Tree Initiative, an apolitical organization focusing on conflict resolution and experiential learning in the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Maia is also the Social Media and Marketing Specialist for the Northern Uganda Medical Mission, a community-based organization focused on improving quality healthcare in Pader, Uganda.
