Mallika Vora is a documentary photographer, graphic designer & programmer based in Bushwick, Brooklyn. She previously worked as the digital manager for photojournalist Ed Kashi, and teaches digital techniques in the International Center of Photography's Documentary Photography and Photojournalism Program. She received a BFA from the Tisch School of the Arts Department of Photography and Imaging in 2013.
She is primarily focused on local, community-based stories about working-class issues, but is open to any new projects or collaborations under the documentary/photojournalism umbrella.
She is the Spanish-speaking daughter of first-generation Indian immigrants and likes tacos, baseball and hip-hop music.
