Manuela Cavadas
Salvador, State of Bahia, Brazil
To know the world trough people’s histories: that’s my goal.
I always try to combine sensibility and creativity, to show the public each individual reality, giving them more than a simple picture, but a source of emotion.
I believe that is by showing to the public that what synthesizes the moment is what truly makes a great photograph.
I work in the photographic market for already 15 years, with abroad experience (London, Barcelona, and Luanda), acting in diverse fields, especially photojournalism and documentary photography. collaborated with UNICEF, developing actions in Brazil and in Barcelona. In London, I registered British street art for the Mo-Shon cultural marketing studio. In Brazil, I've worked for the Semear Project - implemented by IICA, and before that I worked at A Tarde Newspaper, amongst other vehicles, NGO's and private companies such as TIM and Wallmart.
