Emanuele Giovagnoli is a documentary photographer based in the East End of London. He graduated in Photojournalism in 2015 from the London College of Communication of the University of the Arts of London.
During the last year he photographed for a number of charities and NGOs as well as pursuing his own projects.
His photo essay Black Gold in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest, a story focus on the legacy of oil exploration on the people and environment of the Ecuadorian Amazon recently published by the Environment magazine, was awarded an Honorable Mention at the Moscow International Photo Awards 2016.
In June 2016, one image from Black Gold in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest was selected as finalist at the Atkins CIWEM Environmental Photographer of the Year 2016.
