MA in Philosophy and History, since 1990 he has been working for major Italian and foreign press, producing stories from the Middle East, Rwanda, Iraq, Kosovo, South Sudan, Darfur; Ghana, Japan, Balcans and the Arab Emirates. he has published “Body in Italy” a book documenting the Italian passion for fitness and “Refugees” a photo reportage on conflicts in South Sudan and Darfur. These photos had their opening in Rome, an updated selection was shown in Milano at Forma (International Center of Photography). In 1999 his story on hunger in South Sudan won an award at the World Press Photo. He has produced a multimedia on the plague of HIV/AIDS in Kenia , documented the revolutions in Middle East/Africa. A selection of these last work were exibited at the New York photofestival. Currently he is working on migration from Middle East to North Europe. He lives between Milan and Rome
