Maria Luz is a photographer and multimedia storyteller. Originally from Mexico holds a BA in Architecture and a MA in New Media Photojournalism from the Corcoran School of Arts + Design at the George Washington University.
Her body of work primarily explores social issues within urban settings. Territory, landscape, political borders and conflict are recurrent themes on her work.
Currently based and available for assignments in Washington DC and Mexico City.
