Mario Wezel is a german freelance photographer who was born in 1988 in Nürtingen, Germany. He started to work for the local newspaper of his hometown during his last years of school. He moved to Hannover in 2008 where he started in the Photojournalism program of the University of applied sciences and art. Between September 2010 and February 2011 he interned at the regional newspaper Weser Kurier. Mario spent one year in Denmark where he took part in the international photojournalism program at the Danish school of media and journalism. He is a founding member of the recently launched "Mint Collective". In his work Mario focuses on societal topics with whom he tries to reflect the norms and values that we live in.
