I am an award-winning Creative Director/Art Director with a wide combination of creative skills that include:
• art direction
• graphic design
• creative conceptualization
• copy writing
I’ve spent the bulk of my career in boutique shops and start-ups and thrive in those environments, handling much of the creative work myself, from concept to completion.
While in the Multimedia Masters Program at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I was hired as a designer at Sightsound Technologies, the first company to offer download of major motion pictures on the web. I worked my way up to team leader and Senior Designer while developing digital creative for media companies including MGM and Viacom.
When the dot com bubble burst, I relocated to Tallahassee, Florida, where I won numerous Addy Awards developing creative in government strategies, public relations and issue advertising. Later, I co-founded my own creative shop with clients in Florida, California, and Washington D.C.
In 2010 I was hired as Creative Director at Elisco Advertising, in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, where I won both a Gold and Silver 2013 Addy for my work.
In 2013 I entered the freelance world, developing a fantastic group of long term clients along the east coast.
In my free time, I enjoy painting and writing screenplays. I’ve illustrated children’s books for an ex-Pittsburgh Pirate pitcher and have produced, written and played original music and played bands for years. I am currently a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
