Marta Kochanek is a Portrait Photographer.
Photography was always the hugest passion of hers. As she follows it, Marta was offered to spearhead a large, independent archival project for Annie Leibovitz in New York in 2011. She also joined Production Team and assisted the Photographer on sets while shooting for Vanity Fair and Vogue.
Her photographs have been shown several times in both group and solo exhibitions, including Mall Galleries in London, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, mac Birmingham as well as Verge Art Brooklyn and Leslie & Lohman Museum in New York. In 2012 Marta was invited to join Daegu Biennial in South Korea.
Marta’s work has appeared in numerous publications including The Times. National and international professionals honourable mentioned her works through the most important and prestigious photographic competitions like: Px3 Paris, International Aperture Awards, International Photography Awards, as well as Art Kudos.
Awarded by Arts Council England and Commissioned by Shout Festival in 2013 to develop research and photography project.
Marta chose photography to capture amazing and unique moments that may never be repeated. She became a fully satisfied person who discovered a very important thing – life’s path. Photography allows her to look around more attentively, to see different levels of reality and to understand the world through her passion.
Marta is a Co-Owner of GIBSON KOCHANEK STUDIO.
