Martina Andretta
London, United Kingdom
I am an undergraduate Journalism student with recent experience in online journalism, broadcasting, web design and marketing.
I have been the Editor-in-Chief for Her Campus at City University, an online platform for female students worldwide, coordinating the launch of the website in January 2014. I have also collaborated with other publications and organizations such as AIESEC, XXY Magazine, St John Street News, Her Uni and Il Corriere della Sera.
In 2012 - inspired by my own experience and the challenges of following a dream to come and study in London - I founded my own website, Ciao Mamma! , an online support platform for Italian students who are keen to pursue their university studies abroad. From a simple Wordpress blog written only by myself, it is now a website that features articles by more than six writers and covers the admissions' procedures in four countries.
I have a flair for languages, propensity to novelty, a background in classical studies and knowledge of music. I am seeking an internship, work experience or part-time job in print, broadcast or online. I am also interested in media projects related to travelling, education, art, languages and social themes.
