Martina Holmberg
Stockholm, Sweden
An incurable curiosity about the human being is perhaps the main reason why I become a photographer. My customers are mostly newspapers, magazines and advertecing agencies. In addition to freelancing I work with photo books, exhibitions and long-term projects in Sweden and abroad. I use to travel around the world together with my journalist colleague Maria Hagstrom where we feature articles on assignment for various magazines. I also hold lectures and workshops on iphonephotography. During the summers, I work as a photographer and photo editor at Swedish Television and Swedish Radio. I am always open for new collaborations, so please feel free to contact me!

"My son was coming home running from the fish farm and behind him there was a tidal wave 15-20 feet high", he describes the horrible event when the cyclone Aila hit the area 25/5-2009."
"My son rushed into the home, cried out, and took me and his mother and we started to run for the shelter but were swept away before reaching it."
