Massimo Branca

Massimo Branca (b. 1985) is an Italian documentary photographer. graduated in Anthropology (Università di Bologna) with a thesis on the application of photography as a method of research and representation for social sciences and cultural investigation. Since 2009 he works with Collettivo Fotosocial, italian association that uses visual storytelling in order to produce social change.
His interests are focused mainly on cultural flows and contemporary lifestyles. He worked in Ecuador and Colombia (2008), Sardinia (2011), Madagascar (2011-2012), Venice (2011-2014). His last long-term project, started in 2013, deals with street (and underground) life in Bucharest.
He is currently living between Italy and Romania.
