Matt Eich is a portrait photographer and photographic essayist working on long-form projects about the American Condition. He currently resides in Virginia and is a Professional Lecturer of Photography at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
He holds a BS in Photojournalism from Ohio University and an MFA in Photography from Hartford Art School's International Limited-Residency program.
Clients include National Geographic, Esquire, Harper's, GQ, New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Apple, Republic Records, Tiffany & Company, United Way Worldwide, ZEITmagazin and others.
Matt's first monograph, "Carry Me Ohio" was published by Sturm & Drang in October of 2016 and is sold out. His second monograph, "I Love You, I'm Leaving" was published in 2017. He has three forthcoming monographs scheduled between 2018 and 2020.
